Membership Types

There are Six (6) membership types, depending on your profile and the level of involvement in EBCR:

DIAMOND SPONSORSHIP

All Star members benefits + :
• Your company logo on EBCR banners displayed at EBCR events + possibility to bring your own banner at our events .
• Recognition as a Diamond Member in event programs and announcements, highlighting your organization's prestigious status within the EBCR community.

STAR MEMBERSHIP

Same benefits as Blue and Associate + :
• 1 extra attendee (2 in total) to business intelligence and networking events
• Access to closed-door policy events (2 attendees)
• Once per month a promotion on EBCR Facebook page upon request
• One time a year a half-page article in EBCR monthly newsletter to describe your company and activities upon request and ability to promote your events and services via the EBCR newsletter upon request
• Star member club: CEOs will become EBCR digital card holders with club benefits at different stores/restaurants/etc.
• Free access to the meeting room at EBCR premises for 10 people, twice per year (bookings must be done in advance and are subject to availability)

BLUE MEMBERSHIP

• Access to a unique business community
• Access to the EBCR whatsapp group and subgroups with +170 members
• Access to the EBCR service desk
• Access to open advocacy initiatives led by EBCR
• Access to advocacy support for your company
• Access to shared networking and policy events with the AmCham
• 1 attendee allowed at business intelligence and networking events
• Monthly promotion of your services or product on the EBCR whatsapp group
• 5% discount on the renting of EBCR offices (fixed/flex seats, board room rental, event workshop space, garden for events, etc.)
• Can vote and be on the board of EBCR

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

• Access to a unique business community
• Access to the EBCR whatsapp group and subgroups with +170 members
• Access to the EBCR service desk
• Access to open advocacy initiatives led by EBCR

LEAGUE MEMBERSHIP

Designed for institutional alignment and cross-border collaboration. League Membership is exclusively open to Chambers of Commerce, Trade Promotion Agencies, or Business Associations from EU/EFTA Member States that are active in Africa.
Benefits include:

• Strategic institutional alignment with the European Business Chamber of Rwanda.
• Access to high-level networking opportunities, including European delegations and Rwandan government stakeholders.
• Opportunities for joint business advocacy initiatives and cross-promotion of bilateral trade events.
• Access to the EBCR digital business community and regional economic insights.
• Please note: League Members do not hold voting rights at General Assemblies or Board elections.

OVERSEAS MEMBERSHIP

Overseas Membership is open to companies controlled by EU/EFTA nationals or entities that are not yet registered in Rwanda but are actively exploring or engaging in the Rwandan or East African market.
Benefits include:

• Remote access to the EBCR service desk and market intelligence to support your market entry strategy.
• Access to the EBCR WhatsApp group and digital community to connect with established local operators.
• Invitations to attend select EBCR policy events and business intelligence webinars virtually.
• Facilitated networking and on-the-ground support when your representatives visit Rwanda.
• Please note: Overseas Members do not hold voting rights at General Assemblies or Board elections.
FEE: 480,000 RWF +Tax






The Membership is valid for 12 mon ths after receipt of payment. Annual renewal is automatic and EBCR will issue an
invoice one month prior to the expiration of existing membership. Members should notify the EBCR by email
if they do not wish to renew their membership.

All applications for membership must be reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors.
