About

The European Business Chamber of Rwanda is a group of businesses, entrepreneurs and individuals working together to contribute to a flourishing business climate in Rwanda.

We do this by supporting and encouraging both European businesses trading in Rwanda and Rwandan businesses exporting to Europe. While Rwanda’s economy continues to grow quickly, and European countries increasingly focus on trade rather than aid, it is a good time for our group to collaborate with one another to find opportunities to do business and support the growth of Rwanda.

EBCR aspires to provide an easily accessible forum for networking within the business community and between businesses and Rwandan Government entities. Our members have the opportunity to meet, discuss, and learn from one another’s experiences while also making deals with one another.

By learning from our members’ experiences we are able to share valuable insights with policy makers and agencies responsible for implementing policy and advocate for supportive changes. In return, we have open conversations with policy makers to understand their reasoning behind decisions and to understand forthcoming changes that can impact businesses.

Our large membership and our long experience running businesses in Rwanda gives us an insight into business in Rwanda and therefore we are able to provide business intelligence services to clients.

We welcome businesses from any European country (not limited to EU member states) as well as individuals and interested parties. We are a private initiative for the benefit of the private sector.
